B3. DO YOU REGRET THE ACTIONS LEADING TO YOUR IMPRISONMENT?:
I deeply regret the actions that led to my imprisonment. Looking back, I see how my choices not only harmed others but also derailed my own life and the dreams I once had. I now understand the pain I caused and the trust I broke, and I carry the weight of that every day. This experience has been a harsh but necessary wake-up call, pushing me to reflect, grow, and commit to making better decisions moving forward. My only hope is to rebuild what I’ve lost and prove, through my actions, that I can be better.
B4. DID THE TIME AS AN INMATE CHANGE YOU?:
My time as an inmate has profoundly changed me, reshaping my perspective on life and my place in the world. It forced me to confront the consequences of my actions and the impact they had on others, leading to a deeper sense of accountability and empathy. Living within the confines of prison taught me discipline, patience, and the value of self-reflection, as I had to grapple with my mistakes daily. I used the time to educate myself, develop new skills, and set goals for a more meaningful future. Above all, it instilled in me a determination to change—to become a person who contributes positively to society and honors the second chance life has given me.
B5. WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR THE FUTURE, IF PAROLED?:
My plans for the future are centered on redemption, growth, and giving back to the community. I aim to rebuild my life by pursuing meaningful work that utilizes the skills I’ve developed during my time in prison, whether through education, vocational training, or both. I want to be a source of strength for my family, proving to them through my actions that I can be dependable and trustworthy. Additionally, I’m committed to helping others who might be on the path I once walked, sharing my story to prevent them from making similar mistakes. My ultimate goal is to lead a life of integrity and purpose, contributing positively to my community and showing that true change is possible.
